Lexie
Lexie is looking for her forever home! This sweet girl is so pretty, sweet and is really blossoming in her foster home!
Lexie is shy and timid at first and was really lacking confidence when she first arrived in our care. With patience, gentle guidance and lots of positive reinforcement she is now thriving with her foster family and is now ready for her own happily ever after.
Lexie does well with patience and routine! She is a medium energy girl who loves going for walks and the occasional burst of zoomies when she’s happy. She still looks to her foster mom for reassurance and guidance when she’s unsure of new things but she is getting braver and more confident everyday.
She is still shy in new situations but she quickly warms and up and is a very loving and sweet girl. Loud and fast moving things can still make her uncomfortable however so she does require a child free home as young kids make her nervous.
Lexie would do best in a quieter home where she can learn the structure and routine as this is where she thrives! She does not currently live with another dog however we believe another calm and confident dog in the home would be great for her to learn from! With slow and proper introductions of course!
Lexie does great in her crate at home and is fully house trained. She is also an excellent traveller in the car and has enjoyed many cottage and camping trips with her foster family over the summer!
She really is just a beautiful soul who is looking for love and guidance to help her navigate this big and scary world at times. She will make an excellent forever companion as she loves hard and cuddles harder! Does she sound like a perfect fit for your home?
