Lydia
Lydia is the coolest gal in town, and not just because of her awesome hair. She’s kind of perfect. Lydia is looking for a home where she can forever be your favourite goofy sidekick and devoted best friend. She has learned the good life, that toys and cozy human laps complement walks and sniffing adventures beautifully. Liddy truly just wants to be loved and show you love in return. She is young, so that love comes with a lot of enthusiasm right now, but she is the BEST cuddler and loves to have those gorgeous locks petted while curled up beside you.
Her foster family is impressed by her parkour skills and grateful that she is lightweight as she jumps on your lap from across the room, immediately flipping over to show you her belly for a little rub. You will laugh a lot with this girl!
Liddy has a lot of confidence now and happily meets other dogs of all sizes, playing confidently. She loves all dogs, people and kids that she has met. Despite her playful vibes, she is gentle when meeting anyone new. She would love a playful canine companion in the house but she would also be happy as an only dog in a house with lots of activity and doggie-dates.
Lydia is housetrained now and goes into her crate with some high-value treats while her foster family is out, with occasional short-lived protests. She isn’t destructive in the house, just playing with her toys and happily napping the day away between walks and play sessions. She seldom barks (unless you are a squirrel) and is just happy to shadow her people and provide moral support during work meetings.
Liddy has the perfect amount of energy for most tastes. She loves her walks and forest treks to explore nature. If you like hiking or jogging, she would love to be your adventure partner for that too! She is great in the car, walks well on leash and is just excited to learn about the world around her!
