Magpie

Magpie is a super happy girl who loves her people. Being young she can be mischievous stealing food when you are not looking but she is easily forgivable because she is so adorable. She loves ripping around the backyard and lots of cuddles and pets from her people.

Magpie loves dogs, her favorite thing to do is to play keep away with the other dogs in the home. She loves going for walks, she sometimes doesn’t listen to cues well as all she wants to do is play. She would love to live in a home with another playful buddy. Magpie has not met a cat, she shows prey drive so due to this we are asking for a cat free home. Magpie loves people and does well with kids but she can be mouthy with hands so older kids in the home is required. Magpie is a medium to high energy dog, she loves to run and loves her walks, with training she can potentially be a running buddy. Magpie is smart and with training would do well with agility.

Magpie is potty trained. Magpie is working on her crate training but it is a stressor for her. We are still working on getting her comfortable with the crate but she is also left loose in a room for a workday and she is fine, not destructive. Magpie is a young dog, she requires a home who will provide her structure and stimulation as she is smart. She would love a family who can bring her to positive reinforcement classes. Magpie does not love the car, she will not get in on her own and has to be put in but once in she calmly lies down until she can be let out.

Magpie is the happiest girl, always smiling and always looking for love, ice or snacks from her humans. She is a very cuddly girl who will not allow you to stop petting her until she is ready. She will nudge your hand and nuzzles until you cave and continue to give her love. She loves to sit on her humans lap and doesn’t mind being picked up and carried around.
