Margaret March

It is hard not to be immediately drawn into Margaret’s orbit.  She is quite unique looking with her pixie-like looks, and you can tell that, although she is shy on first meeting, she REALLY wants to be loved. Having yummy treats will also help her warm up with strangers! She has formed a strong bond with her foster mom and always shows her so much love.  She will jump up on your lap and cuddle in while you wind down for the night, making her a very cost-effective lap warmer!  Margaret is looking for a couple or single person looking for a best friend and an everyday companion.  Being the apple of your eye is pretty much what this little lady is looking for and truly deserves.
Margaret is quiet at home and can live in attached housing, but does require direct access to a privately owned fenced in space.  She is still gaining confidence on leashed walks, but you can tell these feel more like chores for her and her true happiness when outdoors is running off leash in her yard, exploring every corner and chasing a ball.  She is good with dogs in her home but may take a few days to come out of her shell and she will advocate for her space if she feels overwhelmed at first.
Margaret is good in her crate and runs in to it to eat her meals, and when her foster mom needs to leave.  She is happy in her crate as it has a very comfy bed and always has a treat in it when she goes in.  She could also be okay baby-gated in a small space when you leave, but a full house would be too overwhelming.  At night, she would love to curl up on your bed.  Be warner, she might sneak in a few kisses!
This beautiful, gentle and calm lady would be a perfect match for the right home.  We are only considering homes that fully meet her needs as described, so keep this in mind when applying.
