Marsden

Marsden is a gentle hound with a beautiful personality and a curious nature. His love and kindness extends to people of all ages, including children. Since Marsden is quite excited to meet new friends, we are looking for a home with children who are stable on their feet.

Marsden cannot live with cats, but he has always shared his home with another dog and enjoys the company of a respectful canine companion. He thrives with a four-legged friend by his side.

As a typical hound, Marsden loves following his nose. He should be in securely fenced areas when off-leash due to his strong scent drive. He enjoys going for walks but is quite strong, so a no-pull harness is recommended for easier handling.

Initially vocal during his adjustment period in a foster home, Marsden has been learning to use his inside voice when his people leave. He is scared of fireworks and thunderstorms, and will seek reassurance during these events.

Marsden is excellent in the car, making him a great companion for outings and adventures.

Marsden is accustomed to having someone home more often. He would thrive in a home where his adopter is either frequently present or works only a couple of days out of the home.
