Moose

Moose is the gentlest giant to ever exist! This sweet boy is absolute perfection and everyone that meets him falls in love instantly!

Moose is a high energy boy and very smart! He likes to walk a lot and would really benefit from having a fenced yard where he can run and play! He would likely make a great jogging partner with a bit more work on his leash skills (they are getting much better though!) Moose is also so smart and loves to work on new training and enrichment games with his foster parents! He would likely do well in most dog sports if that is something you’re interested in! Mental enrichment games, scent games etc. at home also would be a great way to bond with him and let him use that big brain of his!

Once Moose is tired though, get ready for a big snuggle buddy! He loves to curl up beside you on the couch and nudge you for affection and pets! Moose loves to be near his people and up in their business lol! He will happily follow you around the house to keep you company, especially when there is food involved! Moose is very treat motivated which makes training so much fun for him!

Moose does not live with other animals right now but he is very interested in playing with other dogs! He whines to meet them on walks and has interacted with many! He is still learning how to play but he wants to so badly! We believe with slow and proper introductions this big guy would love a doggy playmate to help him get some of his energy out! Moose does seem to want to chase bunnies and squirrels on walks so we don’t think a cat would be a good fit for him.

Moose has met many neighbourhood kids who he loves and is very gentle with them! We think he would do best with older kids just due to his size as he could potentially knock someone over when playing!

Moose is house and crate trained and spends about 4-5 hours in his crate during the work day. He also sleeps in his crate at night with no issues! He loves car rides and would be an excellent hiking and adventure buddy!

Moose is sweetness personified! He loves everyone he meets and is so gentle and handsome! He would make an excellent family dog and would love a home to call his own! Could it be yours?
