Opal

Opal is smart, silly, playful girl who has so much love to give to her forever family. She can be shy on initial meetings but offer her a treat and you are her best friend.

Opal loves dogs and requires another one in the home. She gains confidence and follows the other dog in the home for guidance in new situations. Opal lives with a cat and does well, she tries to engage the cat in play so dog savvy cats in the home. Opal would prefer to have older children in the home. Opal is medium energy, she would make a great jogging partner.

Opal is fully house trained but cannot hold it for a full work day yet. She uses pee pads when she has to be left alone for longer stints. Opal has separation anxiety, she has been constantly improving and her time to be able to be home alone is getting longer and longer. Opal is very food motivated, this helps with her training. Opal is smart and a very fast learner, she currently knows the commands sit, stay, come, up, lie down, and go to your crate. Opal does well in the car during short rides, for longer car rides she sometimes gets car sick. Opal loves to collect all her stuffies in a pile then shows them off to her fur siblings trying to get them to play with her.

Not only is Opal beautiful on the outside and constantly getting compliments on our walks but she is also so full of love! She absolutely loves any kind of animal and loves her people so fiercely she just wants to be with them and close to them.
