Owen

Owen is a sweet, thoughtful pup who is equal parts playful and calm. He loves going for walks, sniffing every interesting smell along the way, and then curling up with a plush toy for some quiet downtime. While he enjoys attention and pats, Owen takes his time getting comfortable, but once he trusts you, you’ll see just how affectionate and loyal he really is.

This handsome boy has an easygoing nature and a smart, steady mind. He loves the company of other dogs (especially his brother Omari!) and would be thrilled to have a friendly canine companion in his forever home. Owen does have a silly side too, he’s been known to “collect” all the toys in the house just to make sure they’re safe under his watch.

Owen is crate trained, nearly house trained, and has great manners indoors. He’d make an excellent office buddy and does well when left for a few hours, though he prefers when his people are close by. Because he can be shy with new experiences and startles at rough handling, a calm household with older kids would suit him best.

This little explorer has a strong chase drive and a love of digging, so a secure yard is a must. But with a patient, loving family, Owen’s confidence will continue to grow, and his gentle personality will shine even brighter.
