Owl

Owl is a fun-loving dog who listens well and is eager to engage. Toys are one of his great joys, and he enjoys them enthusiastically. He thrives with clear boundaries and expectations are set out for him.

At home, Owl truly shines. He currently lives with four other dogs and does wonderfully with them after a slow, thoughtful introduction. Once settled, his interactions are playful, respectful, and drama-free. He eats alongside the other dogs without any issues and enjoys both indoor and outdoor time with his canine companions.

On leash, Owl is reactive to other dogs and will need an adopter who is comfortable continuing his leash training and managing introductions appropriately. That said, with proper structure and gradual intros, he has shown he can coexist happily with other dogs in the home.

Owl is a medium-to-high activity level dog. He especially loves wrestling with his foster papa and has a great sense of play boundaries, knowing when to be gentle and when roughhousing is okay. Outside, he’s all about racing his siblings to fetch a ball, which is one of his favorite (and very effective) ways to get his zoomies out.

Above all else, Owl loves being close to his people. Whether it’s playtime, downtime, or just hanging out nearby, he’s happiest when he’s part of the action.
