Pancho

Pancho is a delightful little dude that is looking for a calm but engaging forever home. Pancho is playful, very loving, and easy going. Pancho’s favourite thing in the world is belly rubs!! He smiles at you when you rub his belly and in turn, you can’t help but smile with him. Pancho loves to explore outside! He is excited to get his harness on and get ready to go for walks. He happily sniffs and ‘hunts’ for new smells on his walks. He is curious and loves poking into smells and sounds. After his walk, Pancho is quite happy to sleep on the couch for much of the day. He loves his toys and particularly loves chew toys. Pancho enjoys car-rides and sits quietly in the back waiting for his next adventure.

Pancho is originally from Barbados where he sadly spent two long years in a shelter. He can become anxious with new people and situations but with patience and a routine, he will settle and relax.  He is ready to see the world and wants you by his side. Pancho could live in a home with another calm and easy-going dog, but will require proper introductions to ensure it is a good fit for both dogs. Pancho is doing really well in his house training and learns quickly that waiting until he is outdoors equals treats and praise! Pancho is fully crate trained and would love someone home more often than to keep those belly rubs coming! That said, he is calm on his own and has been left for up to 4 hours. Pancho can be a little nervous when meeting new people but is learning that a stranger is just a (belly rubbing!) friend he hasn’t met…yet!
