Pecan

Pecan is fine around dogs, she would be fine living with another dog or as an only dog with doggy play dates for socialization. Pecan has never interacted with a cat but with a dog savvy cat and slow intros she would be fine to live with a cat. Pecan lives with children and love the extra play buddies, she loves to play chase and tug with her human siblings. She would do best in a home with older dog savvy children. Pecan is a medium energy girl, she has energy to burn followed by nap time. Pecan is still getting the hang of walks but after a few encouraged steps she loves them.

Pecan is crate trained and can be in her crate overnight. She is doing well with potty training, she will need some continued support from her forever family. Pecan is a smart girl and would benefit from some mental activity games and would love a family who can bring her to positive reinforcement training classes. Pecan is fine in the car.

Pecan can come off a little shy but once she’s comfortable, she is sweet and loving. She likes her space but also likes snuggles. While she is mostly mellow, don’t be fooled as she does like to cause some mischief on occasion.
