Scout

Scout is a loving little adventurer with a thoughtful side. She’s a bit more timid than her siblings and likes to sit back and watch before jumping in. Once she’s comfortable, she’s very affectionate and not shy about telling you what she thinks, as she’s the most vocal of the bunch.

Scout can be a little nervous about going into unfamiliar rooms. A patient family who lets her explore at her own pace will help her gain confidence quickly. She loves climbing all over her people, playing with her siblings and toys, and she’s curious about other dogs.

Scout is looking for a home with a fenced yard, plenty of exercise and training, and gentle, patient handling. She’d do well in a townhome, single-family home or country home, in a quiet suburb, busy suburb or country setting. She’s not yet house trained, crate trained or taught basic obedience, and she hasn’t been tested with cats. A home with another friendly, confident dog could help her feel secure.

Priority will be given to a family who is going to bring Scour to puppy obedience classes using positive based reinforcement training techniques.

Scout is a happy puppy and who she becomes as an adult dog will depend on training, socialization, patience and her new family!
