Sierra

Sierra is as unique as her ears. She loves to be close and loves attention and affection once she trusts a person. Sierra is a
wonderful dog and so much character. She is scared in new situations and with new people but once she warms up and she trusts you, you will have a buddy for life.

Sierra loves dogs and they really give her confidence. She would love to have a confident dog buddy in the home. Sierra does not live with cats and requires a cat free home. Sierra gets nervous and reactive around new people, so she requires no kids in her forever home. Sierra is a medium energy girl, while she is still nervous during leashed walks, she does love to run around the her securely fenced backyard. Her adopter will need to continue building up her confidence while on walks.

Sierra is fully potty and crate trained. She can do a full workday in her crate without an issues, so long as there is a yummy treat involved Sierra will run right into her crate. Sierra needs a family who will be patient with her and show her the world isn’t so scary. She is a nervous dog, so new things scare her and her forever family will need to understand that she needs a calm, quiet and consistent life to be happy. She has a lot of potential but needs some confidence boosting to be the best dog she can be. Sierra tolerates the car.

Sierra may not be the right fit for every home, but for the family who understands her, she will be absolutely perfect. She is sweet and kind and so affectionate and really just wants to love and have that love returned.
