Spencer

If you are looking for a young, healthy playful pup to smother you with love and kisses look no further!!!  Spencer LOVES everybody – even the vet has trouble examining him because Spencer just wants to get on her lap and cover her with kisses!

Spencer is an active boy who loves to play.  He likes to play with his toys, but he especially loves play dates with his doggy friends where he can run off-leash, wrestle and socialize.  Spence is very polite with other dogs, somewhat submissive and has never met another animal or human he didn’t consider a potential best friend.   This is especially true on walks as he cannot pass by a pedestrian or dog without wanting to get acquainted.  True to his heritage Spencer is built like a tank and can be somewhat of a puller on leash, and will need continued positive training on this skill!

Spencer is food motivated and has responded well to training received to date.  He has a great sit and is polite and patient when fed or receiving treats.   Spencer has no fear of water but it is unknown if this tank of a dog could swim without floatation assistance.

Spencer has never met another dog he didn’t consider a new best friend. While not required, he would welcome another playful canine of similar size in the home.  As an only pet Spencer would require regular play dates with a buddy to fulfil he need for cabinesocial interaction.  Spencer has met cats and loves them and will try to play with them.  Slow, controlled introductions would be required with a dog savvy cat only.

Overall Spencer is a young, energetic, well-balanced and affectionate young dog who just wants to play and give love.  He can equally be your favourite hiking or running partner and your best cuddle buddy for stay-at-home movie nights.  Spence is one big bundle of joy who charms everyone he meets.
