Star Girl

This sweet girl’s name truly says it all!

Stargirl is in fact just like her name implies! She is so sweet and cuddly and loves to be held and pampered!

Stargirl is a medium energy puppy who does well with a good walk and lots of toy and chew time! This girl loves to chew and while she prefers designated dog safe chews, she will help herself to a shoe or sock if nothing else is available. As long as she has access to her toys she will leave your things alone however so it’s important to make sure she has something to do (and chew)!

Stargirl doesn’t live with other dogs but she gets excited to meet them and say hi while on walks. We do think she would prefer to be the only dog in the home but would love to have doggy friends for regular playdates and socialization. It’s not impossible for her to love with another pup but she can get jealous of shared affection from her humans so slow and proper introductions would be required as well as training to show her it’s ok to share pets and cuddles.

Stargirl is fully house and crate trained and can do a full work day in her crate with no issues! She likes her crate time and feels safe in there so continuing this routine is recommended. She can get anxious in the home alone if she is not crated as she will be looking for her people. If provided some dog safe crate toys and chews she will happily nap and keep herself entertained in there while you are at work or out of the house.

And when you get home you can expect the best greeting! Stargirl in excellent welcome committee member and takes her role very seriously! She will wag and wiggle and express her extreme excitement and happiness when you come home or when any guests come over.

Stargirl does get nervous around children however so if any little ones are coming over it’s best to keep her in her crate with a toy where she can feel safe. We don’t think she would enjoy living with children.

Stargirl is a smart and curious girl who knows her basic commands and loves treats! She would love to do some basic training and obedience classes with her new family! She also loves car rides and going an any new adventures with her people!
