Tate
Tiny boy Tatey, or Taters as he is lovingly called, is a shorty guy who is curious about the world, but still working up the courage to conquer it! He is a little tank but he is always watching to see where he can join in carefully to play with his bigger canine playmates. He knows if he does not choose carefully, he could be accidentally bumped into! Because he is so small, sometimes you might lose sight of him in the house, as he curls up in warm and comfy little spaces. He’s quite a precious little guy!
He loves to play with toys or chew on a bone that is as big as he is (warning: so cute watching him drag a nylabone as big as he is) and will keep himself busy within your vicinity. He does not want to stray too far away as his heart will always belong to the hand that feeds him… Yes, Tatey loves his food and treats, which makes training using positive reinforcement so beneficial! He is working on his crate and house training and is doing well on both fronts as long as it’s not cold or rainy outside because he might melt, you know!
This sweet cutie pie is excited to be your best pal while you enjoy your morning coffee or tea. He loves to be close by and watch while you work, whether that work is gardening or typing away on your keyboard. He enjoys collapsing at your side if you will invite him up for a cuddle and he’s happy to run into his crate at bedtime as long as you tuck him in with a bedtime treat!
If you apply for Tatey, keep in mind he needs a lot of your time and devotion to become the best dog. We would love to see him go to a home that will take him to positive reinforcement training classes.
