Theodore
Teddy is a little lordling, and expects to be given what he wants when he wants it. He will eloquently demand the toy from the other dog, his meals or snuggles by singing the song of his people. He is learning “quiet” as a command when the singing gets too be too much. He is curious and clever, learning quickly. He loves to play with dogs and humans, and when he’s tired he likes to climb into a lap or curl up at your feet. In his foster home, he has a preferred human for the snuggles, but will settle for the other human if he has to. Overall, Teddy is a sweet, loving boy.
Teddy loves other dogs and is eager to play with them, he is polite and courteous with other dogs and would be happy living with another dog or being a solo dog with doggy friends. Teddy is curious about the resident cat but respects the cats signs that it is uncomfortable, he could live with a dog savvy cat. Teddy likes people but would prefer a home with older dog savvy kids. Teddy will grow to be a medium energy dog.
Teddy is doing well in his crate but will bark a little until he settles. Teddy is doing well with potty training if he can’t make it outside he knows to use a pee pad. Teddy is smart and food motivated, he knows the command sit and would love a family who can continue his training through positive reinforcement based classes and training. Teddy does fine in the car, he is in a crated in the car and will whine initially but then settle down for the ride.
Teddy loves a good snuggle and a hug, he loves to play tug and whip his toys around. Teddy is just a sweetheart. Of course puppies are all cute, but this guy is genuinely *sweet*. He is both cuddly and playful, smart and goofy. He’s a perfect package kind of guy.
