Wilbur
Looking to add a little bounce to your life? Wilbur is a fun-loving, energetic young dog who is super smart and enjoys life to the fullest. Games, exercise through canine or human interactive play, and fun dog sports would be fun to add in his day-to-day life! He would do best with another dog to guide him and be his emotional support pal and play buddy. If you are someone who works from home that is ideal, as he is still working on his ability to be left for a full day. He does bark and cry when left initially so a structured routine with a midday walk or play will really help.
He is a cuddler, and will drop on any part of your body so get ready for a canine snuggle-fest! He does occasionally jump up when he’s happy to greet someone but is incredibly smart so his behaviour is improving everyday. Wilbur has only met cats at the pet store while in our care but he may be able to live with dog-savvy cats, as long as controlled introductions happen.
Once Wilbur’s energy has been spent, he’s very snuggly and enjoys cuddling up on the couch, your lap, or a dog bed nearby.
He loved the snow and cold weather but now that summer is on the way, the true adventures begin with his love for life leading the way. He loves, and needs, at least 2 hours of exercise per day to be happiest and that can include playtime in the yard with his dog buddy or human buddy. He also LOVES his walks so if you like walks, he will always want to join you.
If you’re wanting a dog to join you on adventures, even on road trips, he might just be the best buddy as he proudly watches over your shoulder, becoming more comfortable in the car with every awesome adventure. This guy is gonna be someone’s very best friend and maybe,if you are lucky, that’s you!
