Zena

Zena is a spunky girl who loves life and her people. She’s very outgoing and at times stubborn, she’ll pretend that she doesn’t know her name. Don’t let her size fool you, her rambunctious yet affectionate personality takes up lots of space! (in the best of ways, of course). Zena lives with dogs and does well, she can be reactive on leash to bigger dogs. She would be happy to live with other dogs or in a dog free home. Zena lives with cats and loves them but she does chase them to play and even wrestles with one of the cats. One of them does not love Zena and Zena respects her space but she would require a home with dog savvy cats. Zena has met young children and does love them, she can be jumpy in her excitement so she would prefer a home with older children.

Zena is a medium energy girl, she loves her backyard runs with her fur siblings and chasing the ball, of course bringing the ball back is a different story. Zena is crate trained and does great overnight, sometimes while in her crate during the day she will whine or bark but then quickly will settle. Zena is potty trained and will succeed best when on a consistent schedule. Zena is learning to sit and wait patiently for treats. She would love a family who can continue her training through positive reinforcement classes.

Zena does great in the car. Zena is a very affectionate girl that likes to make her people laugh. She adores to shower you with snuggles and kisses (sometimes perhaps even too many kisses). She is a sweet girl with a heart as big as her ears and she is ready for her forever family.
